GCX is a business operation created by Competitive Edge Technology in 2002 to provide a service to clients wishing to select Human Capital Management (HCM) technology solutions. GCX was responding to client wishes to have a complete list of all HCM products on the global market and provide details about their functional capabilities so they may be able to focus on the products relevant to their business needs. In that way they are able to avoid sending out Request For Proposals (RFPs) and wasting their time and vendors by evaluating products that responded with "exaggerated" claims.
